I’m really excited about this wedding because Lauren and I go way back to our good ole’ college days at UNCW. And probably if it wasn’t for Lauren, I wouldn’t have met my husband! Her and Kevin have been sweethearts for some time and I think we were all super excited when Kevin popped the question! Lauren’s parents have a gorgeous home and property in Spring Hope, NC and that’s where they decided to have their wedding. I mean I would too if I lived here?! I loved that all of the touches to their wedding were so personal, from Kevin’s custom suit to their bourbon bottle centerpieces. I think we all especially like the fact that Lauren walked down the aisle to “At Last” by Etta James. Everyone started cheering when the song came on and I’m sure it made it fun to walk down the aisle to. We’ve been pretty much on pins and needles waiting for this proposal! And boy did they celebrate! They’re family and friends were so excited for them and you could feel just how much love and support they had around them. The highlight of the night was at the very end when they surprised everyone with fireworks after their sparkler exit! It’s definitely one for the record books and one I’ll never forget, as I’m sure no one else will either.
Because it was going to be dark by the time their ceremony was over, we made sure to schedule in picture time for the two of them before the ceremony.
