My little ones have gotten so big! But I like this age- they’re cuddly, fluffy, and comfortable with walking but not climbing out of the box yet, unless Lucy teases them. The barking I could do without but it’s the cutest little non-intimidating bark, so you can’t really get mad at that. The pups are officially up for grabs now so this is where it gets hard, thinking about letting them go.
But today was a day of firsts for the pups! We went outside all together to play in the grass and they had their first real dog food! It was quite a day. The picture of all of them in the basket took more effort than you know. They were excited about the trip outside and didn’t really want to stay in one place. They have also gotten teeth this week and Lucy doesn’t appreciate it very much. After their nap, we tried out some soggy dog food and it was a real hit. So much so that they would eat with both front paws in the bowl. To each his own.
We have named them all which probably isn’t a good idea for my psyche. We have Whitey (or Polar Bear), Lazy, Pinkey, Brother, Sister, Harry Potter, & Fatty or Darky (he’s the fattest and the darkest).
Traveling to the outside…
See why we call her Pinkey?
Hey, little fluffy thing. You want to stay with me?
