Let me start by saying I love Thanksgiving. This year was a little more laid back than previous years since we were missing some family members because the teeny tiny triplets are still teeny tiny. But it was fun nonetheless. I love good food, sitting around with family just catching up, then eating desert, and then talking and reminiscing. We spent the actual day at Michael’s grandparent’s house. During desert we watched their old Super 8 films from when they lived in California. She had them transferred to DVD. I recommend everyone do this! That way they last forever and you can actually watch them and pass them down.
Michael’s family fries a turkey and has a great big ole ham.
Always have to have chocolate covered peanuts and orange slices!
I love the details of his grandparent’s house. Such character.
Lucy like Thanksgiving too. She really just liked all the leaves on the ground. We don’t have leaves in Wilmington.
Uncle Perry trying to figure out this new crazy white Mountain Dew drink.
Michael’s mom working on the mashed potatoes.
Emmanuel from Coast Rica. Otherwise known as Sweetcheeks. The boy doesn’t own a pair of pants. Or closed toe shoes.
Hmmm main ingredient for everything. This is tres important.
Time to eat!
Hey, you dang teenager! Get off the facebook already!
Then it was time for a Thanksgiving tradition.
You may remember this location from another post.
Showoff. But I still love you.
Sweetcheeks contemplating shooting the gun. Or buying his first pay of shoes.
Apparently this is Blue Steel.
I don’t know what’s going on here. He’s Costa Rican. What can I say.
Can’t wait for Christmas! What are some of your holiday traditions?
